- The Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, the only infallible rule for faith and practice. - There is one God, eternal and self-existing in three Persons (Father, Son and Holy Spirit), who are to be equally loved, honored and adored. - All humanity participated in Adam's fall from his original sinless state and is thus lost in sin and completely helpless. - God, who is sovereign, for no other reason than His own love and mercy, has chosen to redeem lost sinners from every nation and bring every people by the power of the Holy Spirit through the atoning death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ. - Those who have been truly born again by the Spirit of God believe in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord through the Word of God and will persevere to the end. - Justification is by faith alone and through it the undeserving sinner is clothed with the righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ. - The goal of God's salvation in the life of the Christian is holiness, good works, and service for the glory of God. - At death the believer's soul passes immediately into the presence of God and His blessing, while the unbeliever is eternally under God's condemning wrath. - The Lord Jesus Christ will return visibly to earth at a time when He is not expected, to consummate history and the eternal plan of God. The Gospel of God's salvation in Christ must be proclaimed to the whole world before He returns. We subscbribe to The Baptist Faith & Message (2000). We are also in agreement with other historic Baptist confessions such as: The Abstract of Principles The 1689 London Baptist Confession We support the Danvers Statement on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood. We are excited about the Together for the Gospel conference and statement. |
